Imaging Anatomy | Early Term 1 | A primer for anatomy as seen in imaging, may be run again later in the year for revision. |
Chest X-rays | Term 1 | Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced sessions - turn up to one or all three, to suit your learning. Small group teaching for a more hands on approach. |
Abdominal X-rays | Term 1 | Introduction to AXRs and most commonly seen pathology. Small group teaching. |
Musculoskeletal X-rays | Term 1/2 | 2 sessions, Upper limbs and lower limbs - understanding what to look for and how to present T&O X-rays. Small group or large group depending on knowledge base. |
Computer Tomography (CT) | Term 2 | Sessions divided into Chest (including head and neck), Abdo. A third session may run. Hands on small group sessions. |
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) | Term 2 | A beginner session to introduce concepts in MRI and some practical features. Small |
Clinical Cases | Term 1/2/3 | Long cases to run parallel to the university cases for more experience. |
Essential Pre-exam Cases | Term 3 | A final runthrough of clincial cases to help last minute revision. |
Careers evening | Term 2/3 | An opportunity to talk to trainees in Radiology and Consultants to find out more about the growing field. |
