Working together with other medical societies and a group of junior doctors, we bring a different approach to teaching and learning in radiology. We aim to provide a rich resource of images, access to help and guided teaching in our small group sessions.

C5/6 facet joint dislocation

Disruption of the paraspinal lines. With the posterior displacement, be careful about spinal cord compression.

Note the circular artefact anteriorly, from the suspected Miami J collar angulation buttons.

Pathological fracture of proximal third of left radius

Permeative appearance of the area surrounding the fracture - a mottled appearance. This is due to the lytic changes in the bone causing patches of decreased density.

Osteoprosis, cancer, infections, inherited bone disorders and bone cysts are the commonest causes.
